He didn't mind. It was refreshing given the reactions he normally got out on the street, or even among those he considered peers.
Inevitably people assumed they knew who he was just from his name, or appearance. Both hands were on the balustrade behind her now. Her hand on his bicep felt like an invitation and he was not above trapping his prey early on.
He leaned down a little further, eyes gazing at her perfectly painted lips for a long moment before he parted with his story. ] I've been here a few times, it's familiar ground. I needed to see a mutual friend of the magic world. I do quite like it here. The views are particularly stunning.

[It hasn't sunk in yet that he's that Thor. The eyepatch and hair are definitely distracting, as is his proximity in general. She was in New York during the Incident as the mundane media liked to call it, and even assisted as much as she was able, so the Avengers and their allies were not unknown to her. But as Shadowhunters were a very secret society they weren't about to make their presence known to the media or anyone the media particularly enjoyed stalking.
All she really cares about right now is the delicious man boxing her in without making her feel trapped. She spares just a moment to wonder if she could successfully throw him off the balcony if it came to it. Or if she could literally climb him. The thought has entirely too much appeal.
She doesn't pretend to misunderstand the compliment and her smile is genuine. The squeeze to his bicep is entirely reflex.]
